A Marathi veteran actor-filmmaker Ravindra Mahajani from Pune passed away at 74 (1949 – 2023). Mahajani was found dead at his residence in Ambi village, Maval, on 14 July 2023.
It is suspected that he died 3 days ago. The neighbors contacted the police on Friday after they noticed a smell from the apartment.
A team of police reached the apartment and found Ravindra Mahajani’s body inside.
The police sent his body mortal remains to a hospital for postmortem to confirm the cause of death. The investigation is still going on.
Ravindra played and featured several notable characters in marathi films such as Sarja – Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mumbaicha Faujdar – Fauzdar Jaisingh Rao Mohite, Panipat (2019) – Malharrao Holkar and more that still remain as remarkable plays of him.
