When you hear Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, the mind automatically passes on a generic judgement about the city being filled with nerds, start-up hubs, IT enabling city, etc. But that’s not true about this city. Personally, sharing my experience, if you’re planning to head out to a place wherein you want to enjoy food, the natural landscape, green spaces and striking historic architectures, Bangalore is that city.

One of the must-visit attractions in Bangalore is the majestic Bangalore Palace. This architectural marvel, resembling the Windsor Castle, was built in the 19th century. As you step into the palace, you will be transported back in time, surrounded by intricately designed interiors, vintage furniture, and captivating artwork. Take a leisurely stroll through the manicured gardens and soak in the grandeur of this historical landmark.

Serene Lalbagh Botanical Garden

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city by visiting the serene Lalbagh Botanical Garden. Spread over 240 acres, this garden is a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts alike. Tipu Sultan’s summer palace was built during 1778-1784 AD. Construction of the palace was initiated by Hyder Ali (Tipu Sultan’s father) and completed by Tipu Sultan. Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace has two stories, built with wood, mortar, stone and plaster. Huge garden area surrounds the palace. Interiors are well decorated with floral motifs and paintings showcasing historic events and battles. Tipu Sultan’s burial grounds are also nearby.
